The Canadian Party of Woman is a grass roots network of woman fed up
with the destruction of corporate rule. "The corporate logging of
our old growth forests negates our inherent rights to clean earth,
air, and water. The old growth forests of BC do not belong to
international corporations. We must rally to protect this area and
support the peaceful blockade now going on in the Stoltmann
Wilderness," states Betty Krawczyk, who spent four and a half months
in prison after a blockade at Clayoquot Sound.

On September 15 over one hundred International Forest Products
(Interfor) employees invaded the protester's camp. Seven protesters
were beaten, three so severely they had to be hospitalised. The
victim most severely beaten was a woman. To protest this barbaric
attack Betty Krawczyk of the Canadian Party Of Woman and a great
grandmother, will offer herself for arrest on Sept. 28 by blockading
logging trucks in the Elaho Valley.

The Canadian Party of Woman cordially invites mothers, grandmothers,
young woman of the millennium, to come out and support this peaceful,
non-violent action. Logging trucks roll at 6:00 AM.

For more information on the blockade and directions to the location
call 255-4145 and ask for Suzanne.
