Russia Wavers on Kyoto

Russia Delays Global Warming Pact, May Wreck Deal

In a major climate change policy development, Russia's commitment to Kyoto
appears to be in doubt. This may be brinksmanship in order to exact the best
possible deal for its forest carbon sinks. Nonetheless, it is time for our
respective conservation networks to gear up and lobby Russia to ratify Kyoto.
Expect an action alert within the day.
