Ecological Internet's Projects

Web Portals

Ecological Internet is home to the leading environmental web portals and search engines on the Internet. Our environment, climate, forest /rainforest, water and ocean conservation web sites are presented as a free service to the environmental community.

Sustainability Solutions Initiative

The Sustainability Solutions Initiative environmental think tank is devoted to identifying, publicizing and implementing sufficient policy measures to achieve global ecological sustainability. It focuses upon making scientifically credible policy initiatives -- initially focusing upon climate change and rainforests -- accessible to policy-makers and the public.

Land Restore

Ecological Internet's office is on a seven acres in rural Wisconsin. There we seek to demonstrate sustainable land management and living techniques. We are carrying out restoration of native forest; and plan to showcase organic farming, permaculture techniques, and sustainable and humane animal husbandry techniques.

Asples Papua New Guinea Rainforest Initiative

For years we have worked in PNG to end industrial logging and promote ecologically and socially sustainable livelihoods from standing forests. Activities include campaigning against poorly conceived industrial rainforest destruction, a demonstration ecotourism project, and plans to carry out ecological restoration of native forests.
