Cet \u00e9loignement est \u00e9galement une question d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des chances, certaines communaut\u00e9s n&rsquo;ayant pas acc\u00e8s aux espaces ext\u00e9rieurs et aux nombreuses carri\u00e8res vertes associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 des ressources naturelles.<\/p>\n<p>Les Visites guid\u00e9es des for\u00eats pour les enseignants du New Hampshire (Forests of New Hampshire Teacher Tours) donneront aux enseignants des moyens d&rsquo;aider les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 mieux comprendre le r\u00f4le important que jouent les for\u00eats, et ceux qui les g\u00e8rent, dans la pr\u00e9servation de l\u2019environnement, notamment en ce qui a trait \u00e0 la faune et la flore, la conservation de l&rsquo;eau potable, le soutien de l\u2019activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomique durable et les possibilit\u00e9s de loisirs. Les visites, qui font partie du programme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plt.org\/\">Project Learning Tree <\/a>(PLT), une initiative de la SFI, y parviennent de plusieurs mani\u00e8res, notamment en utilisant les for\u00eats locales comme salles de classe en plein air. Ce projet encouragera \u00e9galement les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 envisager des carri\u00e8res vertes dans le secteur forestier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"&quot;subtitles\u201d\">Comment le projet am\u00e8ne les enseignants et les jeunes \u00e0 appr\u00e9cier les avantages de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement forestier durable et \u00e0 conna\u00eetre les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019emplois verts dans le secteur forestier.<\/p>\n<p>Les enseignants recevront 30 heures de cr\u00e9dits de formation continue pour leur participation \u00e0 un atelier de quatre jours. Au cours de l&rsquo;atelier, ils d\u00e9couvriront le programme PLT et apprendront comment l&rsquo;int\u00e9grer \u00e0 leur propre programme p\u00e9dagogique. Des repr\u00e9sentants d&rsquo;entreprises qui font partie du Comit\u00e9 de mise en \u0153uvre des normes SFI du New Hampshire travailleront avec les enseignants pour favoriser une meilleure compr\u00e9hension de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement forestier \u00e9cologiquement soutenable \u00a0et de l\u2019importance de la fabrication de produits forestiers durables. Les enseignants seront \u00e9galement expos\u00e9s aux diff\u00e9rentes disciplines et aux parcours professionnels qui m\u00e8nent \u00e0 des carri\u00e8res vertes comme la gestion de la faune et d&rsquo;autres emplois associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la gestion des ressources naturelles dans le secteur forestier. L&rsquo;atelier fournira aux enseignants l&rsquo;information dont ils ont besoin pour permettre aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves d&rsquo;acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences et une exp\u00e9rience de base qui seront reconnues par les programmes postsecondaires.<\/p>\n<p class=\"&quot;subtitles\u201d\">Contribution de SFI<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet est appuy\u00e9 par le programme de subventions communautaires de la SFI. De plus, le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nhplt.org\/\">Groupe PLT du New Hampshire <\/a>fournira des ressources et de l\u2019expertise \u00e0 l\u2019appui du projet. Ces comit\u00e9s travaillent avec des associations locales, foresti\u00e8res et professionnelles, des universit\u00e9s, des agences gouvernementales, des groupes de propri\u00e9taires fonciers, des groupes de conservation et bien d&rsquo;autres pour promouvoir les normes SFI comme moyen d&rsquo;\u00e9largir la pratique de la foresterie \u00e9cologiquement responsable et de r\u00e9aliser des progr\u00e8s sur le terrain. Depuis 1995, les organisations certifi\u00e9es SFI ont vers\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 75 millions de dollars \u00e0 l\u2019appui des programmes locaux par le biais des comit\u00e9s de mise en \u0153uvre des normes SFI. Cela inclut la formation des b\u00fbcherons et des forestiers, ce qui repr\u00e9sente un moyen tr\u00e8s efficace d\u2019atteindre les milliers d&rsquo;entrepreneurs ind\u00e9pendants qui sont la cl\u00e9 de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 des op\u00e9rations d&rsquo;exploitation foresti\u00e8re.
