Eastern Ontario Model Forest Expanding Sustainable Forestry With SFI Certification On Private Lands
The Eastern Ontario Model Forest (EOMF) is expanding sustainable forestry on private lands by encouraging their members to certify to the SFI Indigenous Peoples and Families Module. The EOMF Certification Program, administered by the Ontario Woodlot Association (OWA), celebrated 20 years of certification in 2023 and is pleased to now offer the SFI module to its members.

SFI at the USGBC GreenBuild Expo
This is the 5th year SFI has participated in the USGBC’s Green Build Expo, and over the years the SFI team has spent countless hours in the exhibit hall talking with architects, developers, and policy makers, among others, about sustainability, about the important role of forest certification, and about the evolution of green building.
