SFI ensures the sustainability of source materials through supply chain assurances and our label elevates the visibility of sustainable practices and encourages responsible purchasing.

SFI engages in research and grant making to identify best practices in well-managed forests to increase carbon storage and resiliency to climate change.

SFI supports sustainable forests through community engagement and education to reduce deforestation and by promoting ecosystem health and protection of at-risk species.

SFI proactively collaborates with the forest sector, brand owners, conservation groups, academics, resource professionals, landowners, educators, local communities, Indigenous Peoples, governments, and universities to promote our shared goal of sustainable forests.
