2016 Washington Department of Natural Resources and partners from: The Nature Conservancy, Yakama Nation, Washington Fish and Wildlife and US Forest Service  For their collaborative efforts in the Manastash-Taneum Resilient Landscape Restoration Project. This initiative focuses on thinning overgrown forests in the Pacific Northwest to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires, disease, and insect infestations. Link 
2015 Sierra Pacific Industries, and partners from: US Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and North Carolina State University  For their efforts to restore declining populations of fishers in northern California.  Link

2013 Soterra LLC and Pollinator Partnership  Collaboration on habitat of honey bees and other native pollinators in forested ecosystems through the Tiger Swamp Pollination Study and their overall commitment to the Pollinator Habitat Improvement project. Link 
2012 Molpus Timberland Management LLC, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and KY Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources In 1997, the KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife with the support of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation set out to conserve 2 million acres and restore elk to historic ranges in a 16-county zone in eastern KY.  By 2008, population targets were met and a new initiative, The Appalachian Wildlife Initiative, was launched to focus on habitat conservation that benefits not only elk, but varied wildlife. Molpus enrolling 55,000 acres on managed lands with KY (known as the Corrigan Wildlife Management Area).   Link 
2011 Lyme Timber Co. and Wildlife Management Institute  Leading a project that is improving forest habitat for the American woodcock in northern New York State.  Link 
2010 Port Blakely Tree Farms  For participation in a cooperative project to reintroduce endangered Oregon spotted frogs to their former historic range.  Link 
2009 International Forest Products Ltd. (Interfor); Crown Pine Timber LP; Ducks Unlimited Canada/LP Canada (Feb 2009)  International Forest Products Ltd. and the Nanwakolas Council received an SFI Conservation Leadership Award for a partnership to ensure a suitable supply of monumental cedar trees to meet longterm cultural needs on British Columbia’s Pacific Coast.  Crown Pine Timber LP for conservation partnerships with organizations such as the Nature Conservancy of Texas and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department that will protect and restore longleaf pine woodlands in east Texas.    Louisiana-Pacific Corporation and Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) for research collaboration and forest inventory improvements, including an enhanced wetland inventory, information transfer and environmental education on public lands in Manitoba Link  Link 
2008 Rayonier; Forest Capital Partners The Minnesota Division of Forest Capital Partners LLC won the SFI and Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation Wildlife Stewardship Award.   UPM-Kymmene Inc. and Rayonier Inc. and their many partners each won an SFI Leadership in Conservation Research Award.  Link 
2007 UPM-Kymmene  SFI Inc. announced the creation of the Leadership in Conservation Research Award  The first award winner was the Birds as Bioindicators of Biodiversity Study, launched in 2007. It aims to improve forestry practices by evaluating the reproductive performance of several songbird and woodpecker species in treated and control areas of public lands managed by UPM-Kymmene in eastern Canada. Participants include UPM; Time Inc.; the Université de Moncton; the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources; The Nature Conservancy of Canada, and Bird Studies Canada.  Link
